Future Signs the UK Government Cyber Pledge

Future has become one of the first organisations to sign the UK Government’s Cyber Resilience Pledge, demonstrating its commitment to strengthening cyber resilience across its own organisation, for its customers, throughout its supply chain and in support of a wider digital economy.

The voluntary pledge, launched by the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, brings together government and industry to help strengthen cyber resilience across the UK economy.

Organisations signing the pledge commit to three key main actions:

  • Making cyber security a Board-level responsibility.
  • Signing up to the National Cyber Security Centre’s Early Warning service.
  • Taking a risk-based approach to requiring Cyber Essentials across their supply chain.

Cyber threats continue to evolve in scale and sophistication, making resilience a growing priority for organisations across every sector. Through signing the pledge, we’re demonstrating our commitment to take practical steps that strengthen cyber security governance, improve threat awareness and promote good practice throughout our supply chain.

The pledge supports the ongoing focus we have regarding Cyber Security and Crisis Management and will help ensure the business continues to protect its operations and data.
