Future today announced the relaunch of Tom’s Guide, unveiling a redesigned experience built to better connect content, commerce and audience engagement. With new AI-powered tools, live Q&As and expanded video and newsletter content, the new Tom’s Guide is designed to help consumers make faster, more confident technology decisions.
For nearly two decades, Tom’s Guide has helped millions of readers across the U.S. and U.K. cut through the noise of consumer technology with rigorous testing, expert reviews and practical buying advice.
This relaunch builds on that foundation with a sharper visual identity and smarter tools designed to meet audiences at key decision moments.
Key innovations include:
Smarter Decision & Shopping Tools
The Tom’s Guide Product Finder uses AI to help users quickly identify the best products and deals based on editorial testing and real-time pricing — reducing the time spent searching and increasing confidence in what to buy.
Live Q&As and Community Engagement
Tom’s Guide is expanding its community offering with Live Q&As, giving readers direct access to editors and experts during key tech moments. Early tests around major launches have already shown strong engagement, with users actively participating and seeking personalised advice.
These experiences build on the momentum of the Tom’s Guide Club, now 78,000 members strong, creating a more direct connection between audiences and trusted expertise.
Expanded Video-First Storytelling
New high-quality video franchises — including “Tom’s Guide to…” — bring product testing and recommendations to life, helping audiences evaluate devices more quickly with expert guidance. Content spans hands-on reviews, practical how-to advice and forward-looking tech insights.
These series are distributed across Tom’s Guide and dedicated social channels on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram, alongside new vertical-specific channels such as Tom’s Guide Fitness (Instagram) and Tom’s Guide Entertainment (TikTok).
New Newsletter Offerings
The relaunch reintroduces the Tom’s Guide Daily newsletter and introduces five new newsletters, including AI Editor Amanda Caswell’s “AI Insider,” offering deeper, more actionable insights across key tech categories.
Smarter Content Discovery
Enhanced recirculation capabilities, powered by Future’s Advisor tool, will more intelligently surface relevant content — helping users discover the next most useful piece of information based on their interests and behaviour.
“Tom’s Guide is evolving to thrive in an ever-changing technology landscape,” said Mark Spoonauer, Global Editor in Chief of Tom’s Guide. “By bringing together a bold new brand identity, powerful AI-driven tools, new newsletters and hands-on video series, we’re not just responding to how audiences discover technology but we’re helping shape it. Today’s consumers want deeper ways to engage with trusted expertise, and this next chapter of Tom’s Guide is built to deliver exactly that.”
“Being a leading technology publisher in the U.S. and U.K. is something we’re incredibly proud of, but it also comes with a responsibility to keep pushing the industry forward,” said Paul Newman, Managing Director, Technology at Future. “The relaunched Tom’s Guide helps audiences make smarter decisions, driving added value for our commercial partners through increased user engagement.”
The redesigned site is live today, delivering a faster, smarter and more visually dynamic experience for the millions of users who rely on Tom’s Guide to navigate the ever-evolving world of consumer technology.
